Queensland Energy On residential customers are set to receive a $550 Cost of Living Rebate from July 2023. The rebate will be automatically credited to eligible customer invoices from August 2023 and appear on residential customer invoices between September and December 2023, depending on the invoicing cycles.
These rebates are additional to any other energy rebate or concession that Queensland Energy On customers are currently receiving.
To be eligible for the Queensland Cost of Living Rebate:
You must be a Queensland residential energy consumer (i.e. have a residential electricity account).
You must be the account holder
Only one payment is available per household
Arrangements are in place for customers within embedded networks, so Energy On will ensure customers will receive the rebate as a credit on the electricity invoice.
You must be an occupant of the premises on 1st July 2023.
Energy On will process these claims and the QLD Cost of Living Rebate will appear on invoices between September and December issued invoices, based on when invoices are issued for your site.
