How long does it take for an account to be set up?

Generally speaking, it will take our team between two to three business days to setup your Energy On Utility Account, provided that we receive all the required information to set up your new utility account accurately. This will involve each new occupier filling in a Sale Of Utility Agreement and returning it to us with an accompanying photo ID. This agreement outlines all fees and charges, the occupants’ rights and responsibilities, as well as ours to you. Usually, this form takes no longer than five minutes to complete. 

We require this completed and returned to us so that we can continue to supply your Utilities. 

Once we receive this completed form, our team will set up each utility account accordingly. This Sale of Utility Agreement must be received prior to your move-in date, so we can ensure your account is setup for your Utility supply by the move-in date. It is recommended to return your agreement and ID back to us at least 3-5 business days before you move in so we can ensure it's processed in time. 

You will receive a confirmation email from us upon completion of your Sale of Utility Agreement.
