We are very grateful for forward-thinking customers who are passionate about the environment. There are two main ways to reduce emissions from energy consumption, those being local energy generation and improvements to the energy grid.
Energy On supports adding rooftop solar generation (local energy generation) to sites if that is of interest to the Owners Corporation, Body Corporate or Building manager. We recommend you reach out to us if this is something you would like to discuss!
As our sites are Local Energy Networks, we purchase energy from the grid, not from generators. The greenhouse emissions from the grid are beyond our control as we don’t operate the large-scale generators that supply the grid.
However, we are working on implementing GreenPower at our sites. It is not yet available directly at customer level, but once implemented, you will have the ability to opt in to your energy consumption being accounted for through the GreenPower program, lowering carbon emissions from the grid.
