I'm moving out or going away, how can I switch off my power?

If you are moving out or going away for an extended period of time, you can switch off your power by TURNING OFF YOUR FUSES.

Your fuses are usually located within a small cupboard within or immediately outside your premise. Once you have finished using power and are ready to leave, please turn all these switches down to OFF, including the MAINS and/or SAFETY switch.

Should these be left on, there may be excess electricity usage, often standby power for appliances or other items drawing power, recorded for billing on your final invoice. You are responsible for the usage at your premise up until the date you have advised us your tenancy will end.

If you are going away for an extended period of time (several months) and would like to reduce all costs, please submit a ticket and we can discuss arranging to disconnect your electricity, closing your account until you return. When you return to your address, you can contact us again to open up a new account.

If in doubt, reach out to our team by submitting a ticket HERE for a quick discussion on your situation, the options that best suit you, or other ways we may be able to help.
