What is Payble and How does it work?

Payble is a Direct Debit and Payment service offering quick and easy payment options for Energy On Customers, allowing you to pay your Energy On invoices in just a few quick steps.

Using Payble allows you to pay for your Energy On utilities by setting up a direct debit from your bank account or credit/debit card, and making one-off payments for your invoice. A mobile phone number is all you need to set yourself up.

Why Use Payble?

Unlike manual direct debit payments you or a bank setup on their own, Payble works with you to make this process much simpler and more user friendly. Here's a couple of examples:

  • If Payble detects that your Utility balance is $0.00, it will stop a direct debit occurring on your invoice due date, rather than charge you for a pre-set amount.
  • If you have made a partial payment or a credit has been applied to your invoice, it will reduce the amount paid via direct debit on the invoice due date, to what you owe.
  • You can update your details in Payble whenever you need.
  • If life happens and something changes in your account preventing debit from occurring, it will re-attempt following an initial attempt failing.
  • Payble will give you gentle reminders when your direct debit is coming up, helping you keep on top of your payments. If something goes wrong, it will also be sure to let you know.

Great, how do I Get Started?

Step 1.
Register for Payble - Every Invoice you receive from Energy On will include a QR code specific to you, simply scan that QR code to get started. Alternately, click here and enter your Energy On customer number.

Step 2.
Finalise your payment request - Follow the prompts in Payble to complete your flexible Direct Debit Request.

Step 3.
For Direct Debit payments, check that you have money available in the registered account. You need to make sure you have a sufficient balance for payment available at the time your account is debited.

Step 4.
Done! - Once your Direct Debit Request is approved, Energy On will debit your nominated account on the due date of your invoice. You may cancel or update your details at any time by contacting Energy On.

Payble also gives the option to do one-off payments
