What is a Daily Charge?

The Daily Charge is a fee per-day for having electricity connected to the premises.

It allows for accessing and maintaining an energy distributors network, is regulated by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and is dependent on your electricity distribution area.

This fee is sometimes also referred to as a Service To Property Charge, Service Charge, Daily Rate or Daily Supply Charge.

This will always be displayed and charged on your monthly invoices as a cost per day. It will vary depending on how many days are in each billing cycle each month.
